The Scientific Committee of the 2025 HKCPsych International Mental Health Congress (HKCPsych 2025) welcomes the submission of abstracts for Oral and Poster Presentation at the Congress.

Abstract Content:


  • The abstract must be written in English.
  • A submitted abstract should be limited to 300 words for each submission.
  • Abstracts of published studies or studies in progress are welcome.
  • You are recommended to organize the body of the abstract as follows:
    (a) objectives, (b) methodology, (c) results, and (d) conclusion

 

General Guidelines:


  • The abstract must be written in English.
  • Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission portal.
  • Abstracts must be submitted no later than the deadline of 28 February 2025.
  • Abstracts of published studies or studies in progress are welcome. 
  • All abstracts will be reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee. An abstract may be accepted for oral or poster presentation, or it may be rejected.
  • Author of the accepted abstract must register as a paying delegate to attend the Congress. Otherwise, the accepted abstract will not be included in the Congress programme.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to select and assign abstracts relevant to the sessions for oral and poster presentation at the Congress.

 

Important Dates:


Deadline for submission of abstract: 28 February 2025
Deadline for registration for presenters: 30 April 2025. Further guideline will be provided upon receipt of the acceptance notice.
Abstract acceptance notices will be sent to the presenting authors by 31 March 2025 via email.

 

Awards:


Young Investigator Awards are designed to give young investigators, working in the field of mental health, the opportunity to present their original research at the HKCPsych 2025. Applicants would need to present their work in person at designated oral or poster presentation sessions at the Congress.

  • Application for the Young Investigator Award should be submitted during the online abstract submission.
  • Successful applicants must be under the age of 40 (by 28 June 2025) and will be asked to submit a copy of an identification card to prove the date of birth.

Best Oral, Best Poster and Best Short Communication Awards will be granted for recognition of the outstanding works at the HKCPsych 2025.

  • All oral or poster presentations that are presented at the HKCPsych 2025 are considered eligible.
